The installation process is easy, as it requires a neutral wire and a standard wall plate size. The Kasa app guides you through the step-by-step installation, eliminating the need to understand complex switch wiring or master vs auxiliary switch configurations.
The HS200 requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. With the Kasa app, you can monitor your light status and turn electronics on and off from anywhere, whether you're at home, in the office, or on vacation. The hands-free voice control feature allows you to control the lights in your home using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, which is particularly convenient when your hands are full or you're entering a dark room.
The scheduling feature enables you to set your smart switch to automatically turn on and off while you're home or away. You can enable "away mode" to randomly switch on and off, tricking potential intruders. Designed and developed in Silicon Valley, Kasa is trusted by over 4 million users and is UL certified for safe use. The dimensions of the HS200 without the panel are 4.131.711.74 in.
