The Meross Smart Dimmer Switch provides a 1%-100% dimmable range, enabling users to manage and control their entire smart home lighting as needed. Simple voice commands can be used to control the lights through Apple HomeKit, Alexa, or Google Assistant. Additionally, the switch can be adjusted remotely via the internet, even when users are away from home.
The 3-Way Dimmer Switch Kit is designed specifically for 3-way installations, allowing users to control the light from two different locations, such as the top and bottom of a staircase, the door and the bed, or a hallway and a stairway. Please note that the main switch cannot be used with other standard 3-way switches.
To enable remote control through HomeKit, users will need a HomePod, Apple TV 4K, or Apple TV HD set up as a HomeKit bridge and connected to their home Wi-Fi network. This bridge must remain online for the remote control functionality to work.
The Meross smart switches are compatible with a variety of voice assistants, including Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, Carplay, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. Users can give simple voice commands to turn the connected devices on or off, and the lights can be scheduled to turn on or off automatically based on sunrise and sunset settings.
Installation is quick and easy, taking around 15 minutes. The switches are designed to fit standard Decora/GFCI faceplates and work with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks (not 5GHz). No additional hub is required, and the switches are also compatible with SmartThings.
